Supernova

Supernova was born in 2002 by the partnership of Emiliano Necioni and Giacomo Godi.

The two djs and producers blended their own previous professional experiences to create an ambitious and successful project.

Things started to snowball in 2007 when Sony Bmg released their first album “Downtown Underground”, which was immediately supported by critics & medias such as Mtv and launched Supernova on tours in China and USA.

In 2009, Supernova's new personal outlet, called “Lapsus Music”, saw the light of day and made a huge splash thanks to Dj Sneak remix of "That's what I like" or Supernova's remix of Kerry Chandler classic “Hallelujah”.

2010 was an insane year for the italian duo, working with the most important labels in the electronic music scene such as Strictly Rhythm, Defected, Stereo Productions, King Street, Tronic and touring between London, Ibiza , Mykonos, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Moscow, Krasnodar, Sevilla & Barcelona.

Their hybrid live/dj set showcases a wide variation of sounds, blending funky, sexy & groovy house.

Last single by Supernova feat. Kevin Saunderson (Nirvana Recordings/Toolroom) has been more then 7 weeks at N 1 on Beatport House chart and more then 14 weeks on Main top 10 chart. The record will be probably one of the most played and sold record of 2011.
