Marcos Cruz biography

Born in Seville (Spain), Dj & Producer Marcos Cruz has managed to combine the best underground sounds with electronic and minimal house in sessions that are always as energetic as full of sensuality.

Backed up by twelve albums, his first release it was born in 2001, “Mi sueño” (Negrita Records) and two years after 2003 Marcos Cruz has called great artist’s attention as DEEP DISH with his hit ‘I LOVE YOU’ (Seria Killer Vynil). In 2004 he release the first track for his label DESERTICA RECORDS “ENTRA DENTRO”, the second track that he make for his label in 2005 LOVE ROTATION is preselectioned for the last ALI DUBFIRE compilation with GLOBLAL UNDERGROUND.

In 2006 released DANCE TO ME with SOLAR RECORDS. And in 2007 soon he released his last remix for DJ CHUS (STEREO Y SOLAR) “Caronte´s theme” (with remixes from MARCOS CRUZ, ADAM FREEMER AND CHUS & CEBALLOS) and has also shared cabin with acts like Behrouz, Satoshie Tomie,Francois Kevorquian, Dj Chus,James Holden, Ellen Allien, Pascal Feos, Luciano or Deep Dish themselves.

He has performed live at the most prestigious Clubs in Spain and, outside his homelands he’s been live at such impressive places like WMC Miami, MTV Fashion, Plazma (Bulgaria), Kadoc (Portugal), The core (Brighton-London), Queen (Paris), Club Mania (The Black Sea, Bulgaria), Pervert (Mexico), Ministry of sound…

Nowadays he co-owns Desertica Records, in which his latest album “MARS DIARY” (DARIO NUÑEZ, Marcos Cruz interpretation mix) has just been released.

In 2008 he has released his last E.P “COMPAS DE ALEGRÍA” with very good reaction reaching the TOP TEN SALES in Trackingspain (the STEREO PRODUCTION´S OFICIAL DOWNLOAD SHOP). Also in this year he will release in Miami WMC his last remix for BEROUHZ “BEATBOX” (Stereo Productions) , and his last work togheter Nick and Danny Chatelain with the best flamenco rhythm “SENTIMIENTO” and “PASEO POR LA ALHAMBRA”.

Heavy electronic rhythms, progressive sounds, and absolutely elegant vocals are Marcos Cruz’s presentation card, who now has its residence performance at the best House Club in Southern Spain; AND.
