DJ Chus biography - Dj Agency

Dj Chus began his professional career in the late 80’s in his own city when Acid House was in its summit. He was resident dj for such important clubs as Alien and Kapital, where he spinned for 7 years or Kadoc Club in Portuguese Algarve.

Soon he realized that his future was close to the music production and soon became without doubt one of the most representative dj and producer’s worldwide. After releasing records with labels such as Boo, Black Vinyl, Fluential, NRK, 20:20 Vision, Maya Recordings, Uncle P. music, Red Melon, Bluem recordings, Doubledown, Moody recordings or Defected, he founded Stereo Productions in 2002 with his partner Pablo Ceballos and Carlos Caliço (Monophone Dj Agency and management responsible) to have his own platform to release his records.

His first record with Stereo ‘The Strong Rhythm’ was an instant success and soon more hits came from Stereo’s factory. A remixing maestro he has worked with important names in the music industry like Madonna, Paris Hilton, Enrique Iglesias, Yoko Ono or Kathy Brown and top electronic artists like Deep Dish, Danny Tengalia, Superchumbo, Tedd Patterson or Sandy Rivera among others. His remixing work with Pablo Ceballos or David Penn has given him international prestige.

A tireless worker, Dj Chus travels the world visiting the most exquisite clubs. Ageha in Tokyo, Peppermint in Dubai, renowned club Stereo in Montreal, David Morales’ club where Chus & Ceballos have a residency, or Kremlin in Moscow are some of the clubs Chus visits regularly. Nowadays he hods three international residences: Pacha New York, Space Miami and the mentioned Stereo in Montreal. He is also demanded by the most important festivals around the world having played at as Black & Blue Festival in Montreal or Monegros Desert Festival in Spain.

He also records a weekly radio show called ‘In Stereo radio Show' which is aired in Spain, Portugal, France, and Greece and in online platforms DI.com and VOYNC.com.

He has been awarded with many awards throuhg his carrer. The most recent one theBest Tribal and Progressive Dj 2007 by Spanish Deejaymag.

House music and his electronic music particular vision through his trademark Iberican Sound are Chus’ sign of identity.
