For this mid summer weeks we like to bring our best tracks back to the frontline again with some unreleased remixes to remember what have been our best hits during the winter-spring season. In this case we go back to America to find some excellent remixes of one our best hits lately: Bring Your Soul Back, the track that opened the last compilation of Chus & Ceballos ‘Blended Sound 002’, mixed for the renowned Canadian club Stereo. Oscar G brings the soul back directly from one of the finest dance floors in the planet: Space Miami. He hits us with a dark & underground tribal beat with a colourful 80’s synth melody that gives this remix a happy acid house touch. Luigi Daniell goes straight to the deepest landscapes of tech house. The track begins with great atmos- pheres of analogical synth beds with a robotic percussive structure. From this sweet and soft atmos- phere, Luigi turns his remix into darker territories and explodes the track to an aggressive, percussive minimal techy beat, that is going to blow up some minds in the dance floor. The break down returns to the initial atmosphere and there it goes again, hard and heavy rhythms. Impossible to stop dancing! Frank Maurel, the most active Portuguese dj at the moment, doesn’t disappoint with his remix of Bring Your Soul Back. He goes for a sub bassed dubby beat and for a minimal structure, a few ele- ments but enough to create a full atmosphere and body in the track. Welcome to the future! Finally, tireless Manaça, our best Portuguese boy, makes an edit of Giangi and Ralphi’s Bring Your Soul Back emphasizing the tribal feeling of the track using only the drum parts and the voices.
