Description
For this new Solar Recordings release we have decided to compile the best tunes we have heard so far in Solar Recordings Digital. Tracks from quality producers like Rob Mirage, Dj Chus, David Lara and Paco Buggin ranging from progressive to electronic house, hypnotic and robotic sounds with a contemporary feel.
New Yorker Rob Mirage surprised all of us with an amazing EP entitled ‘Running Scared’. From that EP we take ‘In My House’ a track featuring deep and mysterious atmospheres, endless electronic landscapes and catchy melodies.
The Boss Dj Chus selects for this EP hi solo track featured in SOLARDD004 ‘Caronthe’s Theme’ where Dj Chus captures the universe essence in this electronic and avant-garde track.
David Lara features in this record with ‘Bounty’ from SOLARDD008 a track featuring a jackin’ tech house beat with a great bass groove, an effective organ melody and minimal inspired synth arpeggios. He builds up perfectly the track, jumping easy and originally between different parts taking you into a continuous change of mood. He creates a great atmosphere in the whole track thanks to the different melodies and sounds he uses.
Finally Paco Buggin shows his production skills with ‘Mitología Hispánica’, featured in SOLARDD007, a progressive house track inspired in the magic and fantasy stories of the Iberican Península. A mysterious strings melody creates the magical atmosphere that surrounds this track from the very beginning. A progressive driving beat with some percussive elements create the rhythm section of the track. A filtered evolving arpeggio that sounds during the entire track and a ghostly voice, in the breakdown, give the final punch to the track.
