End of year albums are always a tricky proposition. In reality, it’s a bit of a stretch to encapsulate an entire year’s worth of music within a single release. So rather than make that speculative assertion, we’d rather say that Best of 2011 is a comprehensive look back over the last 12 months in our house, featuring some of what we consider to be the best tunes over that period and the ones that were in the top charts and the most selling cuts. And while some might argue over inclusions or omissions (and we hope you do) we’d like to think that with the amount of music we’ve been exposed to in 2011, we’re reasonably well qualified to make those selections.

Best tunes from Miami & ADE Samplers, from our well know and top selling Balearica, Some Organic Beats, Stereo Cools and a few track from the other releases. The last Stereo Cool relase for this year is an awesome production between two heavyweight of the german electronic music scene, Internationally renowned DJs & producers.

In the left corner Mr. Phil Fuldner. Whether he’s producing or playing, Phil Fuldner will always take you on a fantastic journey through virtually the entire spectrum of irrepressible electronic music. Anyone joining him on this adventure will be rewarded with the finest efforts of the ‘Fuldner creative laboratory’, a near exhaustive glimpse into music of the past, present and future. This Good looking DJ, has the full range of modern electronic sounds at his fingertips and reaches further into funk and rare groove. Prepare to expect the unexpected and you are on the right track. Every Phil Fuldner production or set is something different and unique, searching and outstanding.

In the right corner Mr.Ian Pooley. What shines through is his ability to keep his cool. “I’m not interested in braggin’ about producing four tracks in two days” he explains. „Of course it’s technically possible but not satisfying for me.” As passionate producer and musician, he prefers to take his time for skilful arrangements. Much time, in truth. „I love to create complex sounds and songs” he elaborates. “And I’ve found out that a great track takes its time.” But as much requested international top dj, he also finds himself at the centre of a hectic club scene, pushed between the clubs of Milano, Kiev and Miami. Still he knows how to adapt and profits from the changing scenes, as open-mindedness is key to his musical approach. Extensive studio work and rapid dj trips are the opposing forces of his life.

Zoana has two versions, Fuldner’s & Pooley’s, each one made with his own style, but according to their high level technique and incredible music soul.

As a referee for this contest, a remix of Zoana from a man that we can consider a ‘MVP’ Most Valuable Producer. David Herrero, an awesome and excellent dj, producer and man. He has been taken to the top of the electronic music worldwide and placed in the epicenter, his productions are the favorites not only for the TOPS of different styles and genres but also for the rest DJs. It is considered by Beatport as the emergent artist inside the House panorama and David Herrero’s productions are one nowadays ‘ in the ears of all ‘ and played everywhere.

Started in 2000, the label’s initial focus was in the finest, freshest and delicious house music imprints, now is back after a break and came with the same aim, betting on new talents which preserves the house music essence.

After the successful re-entry with ‘Got The Blues’ by Dynamik Dave, Stereo Cool comes with a new reference with a very different view, but with the musical quality that holds the Stereo Productions sub-label.

This new reference comes from a true heavyweight in the spanish electronic music scene, Cesar de Melero, one of the pioneers and the one we can consider historically the best national resident DJ of Ibiza. along with the young sound engineer Kenttzo, they presents us this fantastic EP, a real Disco tribute.

Disco to Cisco EP consists of three different tracks but with the common denominator of the sound that led to the House, the first track is ‘Guns Of Fire’, with a female vocal samples and an elegant Soul touch and old school production. ‘Spanky’ with a male vocal, impressive bass and classical strings and finally ‘Higher’ with another female vocal sampling becomes a frenetic rhythm and incredible energy.
At the end this EP is a musical delight to enjoy listening or playing, only for the most select ears and eclectic minds.

The IBERICAN SERIES is a collection where we show to the world the work of our artists, related to the ‘Iberican’ peninsula, linked to our brand Stereo Productions and that they work with us all year round. They are mini albums where artists are able to explore his wide sonorous spectrum,   they are big talents, artists that we consider will lead the market in the next years, our vision of future for the industry of our country. A bet for the quality of our people.

For the first release we have whom we can consider ‘the man of the moment’, an awesome and excellent producer, who in his DJ’s side shows in equal way, he has been taken to the top of the electronic music worldwide and placed in the epicenter, his productions are the favorites not only for the TOPS of different styles and genres but also for the rest DJs. It is considered by Beatport as the emergent artist inside the house panorama and David Herrero’s productions are one nowadays ‘ in the ears of all ‘ and played everywhere.
This mini album of the first IBERICAN SERIES, is formed by 9 tracks, 4 new David Herrero’s awesome originals and 4 tracks with the big collaborations like DJ Chus in ‘Nicaragua’, together with Rober Gaez in ‘Roots Of Afrika’, Mark Ferrer in ‘ The Beat of Rain ‘ and Higinio in ‘ The Rhythm is Funk ‘ and to close this ‘premium’ package we include the remix that David Herrero made of the Stereo Productions’s classic of Chus + Ceballos together with Marcelo Castelli ‘Quimera’.
