Stereo Productions Group unifies a selected group of labels, disc jockeys and producers representing a unique cultural movement around the same concept: Global Electronic Music. Stereo Productions Group’s aim is to transmit the soul and the energy of the Iberican Sound, hallmark of the group.Portuguese Algarve saw the beginnings of Stereo Productions in August’99 by Chus L. Esteban and Carlos Calico as a dance event promoter with a weekly residence every Wednesday during the summertime @ KADOC club. Carlos Calico was up till then owner of DJA (Deejay Agency and Management) working with top artist of the electronic music scene. Later on Chus decided to change the place and the activity so he moved the headquarters to Madrid and established Stereo Productions as a company together with Pablo Ceballos. They decided to leave behind the events organisation and focused into the music production. During this phase they released productions such as ‘Voices of Savannah‘ from The Latin Lovers (Boo records, UK), ‘Sunshine‘ from Dj Chus & David Penn (Black Vinyl Records, UK), Groove Foundation’s ‘So Good‘ (Beat Freak Recordings Spain) and ‘Free my soul‘ from Dj Chus vs. Oscar de Rivera (Uncle P music / Siesta USA) all of them composed at Stereo Productions Studio. In September ‘00 Stereo Productions and DJA were merged and established as a limited company in Madrid. Finally the group was settled and began to found the base of Iberican Sound, as Chus says ‘We are establishing the IBERICAN SOUND!‘

The first record released in 2001 ‘The Strong Rhythm‘ by Chus & Ceballos & Carlos Manaça was an instant hit worldwide and become the beginning of Stereo Productions successful career. The first objective of Stereo Productions was to transmit Chus and Ceballos‘ productions and to be the platform for other artists from the Iberican Peninsula to show cast their productions. Artists like: Oscar de Rivera or Circus Night were the first to show to the world the reality of the electronic scene in Spain & Portugal. Thanks to the high success of the first Stereo releases more and more artists wanted to be a part of the Iberican Sound troop. The diversity of artists and musical styles and the high demand of good quality productions took Chus, Pablo and Carlos to diversify Stereo Productions style and create more musical platforms to give the chance to artists to show their talent. Iberican Sound Recordings, Tribo Recordings, Solar Recordings and Almibar Recrodings were born each one of them for a specific musical style. Stereo Productions was getting really BIG.

Soon more hits came form the master hands of Dj Chus. Dj Chus presents Groove Foundation ‘That Feeling‘ released with Defected was a huge success and got Stereo Productions name higher than ever. Chus L Esteban and Carlos Calico then decided to create Monophone, a Dj agency, Dj booking department, management agency and artist representation, which became soon the strong arm of Stereo Productions Group getting the Iberican artists to play in every corner of the planet spreading the Iberican Sound.

Since then Stereo Productions history has been a Non Stop career. The group has received several music awards during the last years showing that the good work is always rewarded. Nowadays Stereo Productions is an outstanding trademark in the international dance music market having strategically marketing relationships with more than 40 organizations all around the globe from Tokyo to Brazil to The Netherlands having a special predominance in the North American market. The business areas covered from Stereo’s headquarters are distribution, promotion, internet based business, recording studio facilities… a wide range of specialities that make Stereo Productions a solid trademark synonymous of quality and success.

Stereo Productions is the main label of the group, our flagship. Big artists like Chus & Ceballos, Carlos Manaca, Marcello Castelli, Richie Santana, Tedd Patterson or Danny Tenaglia, to name a few have released real dance floor bombs using Stereo Productions as the perfect exposing platform. Stereo Productions has become a world reference in Tribal & Progressive Sounds. It has nearly 50 releases in its catalogue covering from tribal house Classics like Chus & Ceballos ‘The Strong Rhythm‘ and ‘Iberican Sound‘ to cutting edge electronic tracks like Chus & Ceballos ‘Go On‘ or Vibe & Fauvrelle ‘Hot Room‘.

Stereo Productions Digital is the digital sister of our main label. This label is the launching platform of very high quality productions from all Stereo’s main artists, continuing the philosophy of Stereo Productions in the digital world.

StereoCool! and StereoCool! Digital:The deepest and coolest side of Stereo. In this label we can find a fresher sound, based on vocals and soulful tracks with very high quality. The smooth atmospheres, soft percussions, funky basses and sensual vocals make StereoCool! the perfect choice for those who like quality, cool and deep sounds. Artists like Joeski, Dj Chus, David Penn or Peter Gelderblom release with StereoCool!.

Iberican Recordings and Iberican Recordings Digital.
All what Iberican Sound means is reflected in this label. Our aim is to be loyal with the base of the sound that determined what the Iberican Style is nowadays and with the artist that represent this movement. Big and powerful tribal beats always with an eye on the future and looking for new ways of expression and evolution of the label are the common factor of Iberican Recordings. Iberican Recordings is proud to have among its producers very important names as David Gausa, Oscar de Rivera, Roman Lieske, Terry Numan, DJ Chus, Rösh or Peter Bailey. Iberican Recordings Digital offers exclusive digital releases of real Iberican Sound. Defined by big and powerful tribal beats always looking to the future for new ways of expression. Solar Recordings and Solar Recordings Digital:

This label is the vanguard of the Stereo Productions’ Sound. Focused on futuristic and electronic sounds, Solar represents what the future in Dance Music is for Stereo Productions’ artists. Based on progressive and dark sounds, electronic beats, killer arpeggios and ultra deep basses, Solar Recordings gives you the ultimate hypnotic feeling for the dance floor. Tribo Recordings and Tribo recordings Digital:

Tribo was born with the purpose of being a platform to new artists, mainly from Portugal, and for all those projects which are 100% tribal or progressive tribal with a dark twist. Artists like Michael C., Marcello Castelli, Pedro Carrilho, Dj Paulo or David Campoy release their tracks with Tribo.

Almibar Recordings:

Almibar main intention was to be the platform for our mainstream productions based on a fresh and cool sound, very sexy and sensual. On its rooster you can find artists like: Mendo, Balearic Soul, Javi Colors or
Salsaman.

Unreleased Trax:

Unreleased mixes and remixes of the greatest hits of Stereo Productions. Home of big and stablished names and upcoming novell producers.

Digi Recordings:

Digi Recordings was initially a platform to release Chus & Ceballos collaborations with other artists on other labels. The catalogue includes Chus & Ceballos collaborations with Dano, Isaac Indart or Halo. Later Digi became the platform to release tracks of upcoming producers of electronic music so it will be a testing laboratory for new young producers to release their material.
